This jellyfish beside our boat at Pulau Kapas was the size of a soccer ball. We watched it extend threadlike tentacles far down into the water. Jerry is very allergic to jellyfish stings, and was not happy to see this animal in an area where we wanted to snorkel. We did have a long snorkel the next day and saw a shark and two turtles without seeing any jellyfish.
